This shield can be used on any size houseboat and boats over 26 feet that use mooring lines 1/2 inch or greater.
The shields can be used on mooring lines up to one inch in diameter.
Included with the each shield is a set of four inserts that adjust the size of the shield opening to 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 7/8 inch diameter enabling them to be used on various sizes of mooring lines.Picture shows the "boat side" of the shield with its patented spring hinge.
