The Remote Control for Your Hatch
The Hatch-It allows a Boat owner to raise and lower his engine hatch from up to 1,500* feet away.
The Hatch-it System is comprised of a receiver module, 2 small keychain transmitters and all the necessary hardware for installation. The receiver module attaches to your existing hatch switch under the dash, or directly to the hatch motor in the engine compartment. You can still raise the hatch by the switch on the dash or by the keychain transmitter. The Hatch-It provides flexibility, security and convenience.

To insure years of trouble-free use, all components are sprayed with a conformal coating that is then "baked on" to provide an impermeable layer of protection from moisture or the "acid" like conditions associated with salt-water. The conformal coating is found on the receiver module and the keychain transmitters.

The receiver module has a total of 4 channels. The first 2 channels control on board relays that provide reversing polarity outputs to control all electric hatch motors up to 30 amps. The 3rd and 4th channels provide 500 mA outputs capable of controlling external relays or solenoids found on hydraulic hatch motors. All channels have isolation protection that prevents 2 outputs from operating at the same time. A simple jumper setting on the receiver module achieves programming for electric or hydraulic hatch motors.

The keychain transmitters have 2 buttons, one for Raise and one for Lower. Each transmitter has an indicator LED that flashes when it is in use. Each transmitter utilizes a unique "code hopping" technology that prevents any other type of transmitter device from operating your hatch motor. This attractive transmitter is white in color and looks at home in any boat interior.

SPECIFICATIONS

Channels are isolated to prevent damage to the hatch motor. In other words, you can't activate the hatch to "Raise" and "Lower" at the same time.

Simple installation :

  • under the dash wired to the existing hatch switch
  • in the motor compartment directly connected to the hatch motor

INSTALLATION

Hatch-It module can be mounted under the dash and wired directly to the hatch switch.

The Hatch-It module can also be mounted in the engine compartment and wired directly to the motor. The manual hatch switch located on the dash will still function as normal.

The Hatch-It module includes all the wires needed for either type of installation, and installs in minutes with simple hand tools.
