and most comment that it's so simple it works like magic.
You'll love the difference it will make for your boating experience!
Operating Instructions
Boaters continually tell us that
the Easy Threader is the most ingenuous mooring tool
they have seen. At boat shows we hear stories from boaters who have tried to tie to
mooring buoys in any of the conventional ways. Often they tell us they have fallen in
the water, or had to scream back and forth from the bow to the stern, and some
experianced boaters even told us of running into buoys while trying to get close.
When the people who tell us these stories see the Easy Threader, their most
common reaction is to ask us to show them again, because the Easy Threader
is so simple and so cleaver that it looks like magic. This might be your reaction
as well. Hopefully these instructions will verify that this is no magic trick, but is
actually a wonderful new mooring tool.
You are going to love it!

Threader is operated!

1. Attach your Easy Threader to an extension pole or threaded boat hook. (Not
included) 2.
Now tie your line to the Easy Threader at point "A" on the lower, sliding
portion. (If you use a large mooring line, tie a small lead line between the Easy Threader
and your line. A lead line should be used on all lines larger than 1/2 inch.)

detailed tying instructions.

3. With your line attached, and extension pole in one hand, hold the loose
hanging section of the line in the other hand. This allows you to control the movement of
the sliding action. 4.
Now position the Easy Threader to hook the mooring ring as shown in picture #1.
5. With the Easy Threader in this position,
hook it's lower sliding portion inside the ring, (as illustrated in picture #2) while at
the same time giving the line in your hand a little slack. (If this is done properly, the
ring will slide into the channel smoothly.) Be sure that your line is hanging freely, and
is clear of the sliding mechanism.
|
 |
6. After the ring is in the channel, pull back on the extension pole and
let loose of the line in your hand. This allows the Easy Threader's lower portion to slide
forward as the extension pole is pulled back. See picture #3. 7. Continue pulling back on the extension pole and the line
will slide through the ring.

The mooring ring is now threaded! All you have to do is
make your line fast to your deck cleats and the job is done!
(Always use a good mooring line when tying to buoys and check for chafing.) |
With the Easy Threader you can tie
your mooring line
to a buoy in seconds!
