FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

HOW EASY IS IT TO FOLD AND UNFOLD? It takes less than 3 seconds to set up the Di Blasi "EXPRESS", and no tools are needed. It’s just as quick and easy when it is time to fold it back again.

WHERE CAN THE Di BLASI "EXPRESS" BE RIDDEN? The Di Blasi "EXPRESS" is designed for paved surfaces. However, because of the front and rear shock absorbers and the wide tires, with appropriate care, it handles unpaved terrain fairly well. With a maximum speed of 30 mph, it's street legal on all public roads except freeways. The "EXPRESS" has a powerful mechanical torque converter variomatic transmission, which enables the motorbike to climb hills easily. For example, a 200 lb. person a 15% grade can still climb at 10 mph.

HOW ABOUT STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION?
The Di Blasi "EXPRESS" weighs only 68 lbs. and a heavy duty carrying bag is available. The sturdy handles on the bag allow easy portability of the folded motorbike, and the bag protects the interior of the storage area. If folded, the "EXPRESS" takes up less than 5 cubic feet and stores, even on it's side without a fuel leak, easily in compact spots of airplanes, boats and yachts, RVs, vans and in the trunk of small cars. By the way, for airplanes, two motorbikes weight only as much as one average passenger.

HOW ABOUT USING THE Di BLASI "EXPRESS" IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES? All countries acknowledge an international agreement for mutual recognition of licensed motor vehicles. This means that the driver of any motor vehicle in a foreign country has to have an appropriate driver’s license issued from the same state or country where the vehicle is registerd/licensed. So, license your Di Blasi "EXPRESS" at home and you’re legal worldwide!

HOW ABOUT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS?Manufactured from the highest quality materials, and individually assembled in the U.S. by detail-oriented craftsmen, the Di Blasi "EXPRESS" comes with a six month unlimited mileage warranty. After that, purchasers receive an additional 12 month free labor in DiBlasi's American facility, where all parts are available immediately. It's compact size and light weight enables the "EXPRESS" to be shipped economically using UPS. However, because of the simplicity of design, every motorcycle repair shop or every technically educated person can service the Di Blasi "EXPRESS". Because of the electronic ignition, the engine is virtually maintenance free.

WHO CAN RIDE THE Di BLASI "EXPRESS? Anyone who has a driver’s license can ride the Di Blasi "EXPRESS", since no motorcycle endorsement is needed. Minors without a driver’s license need a moped permit. Check with your local D.M.V. or Highway Patrol, as rules vary from state to state. The Di Blasi "EXPRESS" accommodates people up to 6 1/2 ft. and/or 320 lbs. And because of it's lightweight and relative small size and easy handling, it's ideal for smaller women, who often have trouble riding full size motorbikes.

WHAT ABOUT FUEL? The Di Blasi "EXPRESS" uses regular gasoline premixed with 2 cycle oil in a 50:1 ratio. The tank holds 3/4 of a gallon, and gets 100 miles per tank. If regular gasoline is not available, it can be substituted with leaded gasoline, high or low octane.

HOW LONG HAS THE Di BLASI BEEN ON THE MARKET? Di Blasi has been producing folding motorcycles for 25 years. Our newest "Express" model was introduced in the Fall of 1997 and has been well proven since then.
