During the era of the great sailing ships, Quarterboards were displayed on vessels for identification at sea and in ports around the world. The captain of the vessel would often acquire the ship's Quarterboard upon retiring. It was then hung on his home for all to see and admire.


Quarterboards are manufactured from High Density Urethane.
Unlike natural wood, HDU will not rot, crack or deteriorate in wet or salty conditions.
Our high quality enamel finishes dramatically reduce the need to repaint signs every year.
The V-Grooved lettering is finished with a glossy metallic Gold Finish and only needs to be cleaned with water when you clean your boat.
We also make custom carved Teak boat signs.
