Mouse and Rat Shields

OFFboard Rat and Mouse Guard Shields are vermin restriction devices. The rat shields are spring-loaded devices created to easily insert on boat mooring lines or overhead utility lines to keep critters such as rats, mice and iguanas away. The OFFboard Rat Shields can be used on lines from 3/8 inch to 2.5 inches in diameter. The Shields use a spring door that opens and closes on the line allowing easy installation and removal. Once closed, the stainless-steel spring keeps the door closed and in place. The shields are engineered not to damage the line but firmly grip it.

OffBoard Shields are also very effective in keeping rats and mice of your telephone and power lines at your home. Just measure the diameter of your lines and order either a 10 inch (usually the size for a phone line)

The 10 inch rat shield can be used on any mooring lines or utility cables that are less than 1/2 inch diameter to restrict rats, mice, iguanas and other vermin from gaining access to your boat or house. The target market for this shield is boats under 26 feet in length. This rat shield can also be used on a 7/16 inch braided mooring line. This is the size most homeowners use for their home-utility lines.

The 15 inch rat shield can be used on any mooring lines or utility cables that are 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter.

The 15-inch vermin shields are perfect for houseboats and boats over 26 feet long.

Included with the each shield is a set of four inserts that adjust the size of the shield opening to 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 7/8 inch diameter enabling them to be used on various sizes of mooring and electrical lines.

The 17-inch rat shield can be used on any size motor yacht, ship or boat over 70 feet that use mooring lines
1 1/2 inches to 2 ¼ inches in diameter.

Included with each shield is a set of four plug-ins that adjust the size of the shield opening to 1 1/2,
1 3/4, 2, and 2 1/4 inch diameters enabling them to be used on various sizes of mooring or utility lines.
